ANNOUNCEMENT: Call for Cooperation
Productive Use of Energy Technologies
The Government of Rwanda seeks to collaborate with the private sector to promote a competitive and sustainable market for Productive Use of Energy (PUE) technologies. This initiative aims at expanding access to reliable and affordable energy solutions that support income-generating activities and socio-economic development across the country.
In this regard, the Energy Development Corporation Limited (EDCL) hereby invites interested companies/ cooperatives/ developers that supply and install off-grid/ on-grid irrigation systems, refrigeration systems, and electric cooking technologies and any other relevant PUE technology to express interest of cooperation.
The objective of this Cooperation is to establish partnerships with qualified private sector entities to facilitate the deployment, scaling, and sustainable use of Productive Use of Energy (PUE) technologies across Rwanda under the Accelerating Sustainable and Clean Energy Access Transformation program (ASCENT).
Interested applicants are requested to submit their applications addressed to the Managing Director, by email to info@edcl.reg.rw with a copy to fgakuba@edcl.reg.rw and mmusonera@edcl.reg.rw.
